CDA Eases Rules for Family Transfer of Residential Property in Islamabad
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has reportedly eased the rules for family transfers of residential properties in Islamabad. According to the reports published by leading media outlets, the development authority will no longer require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Building Control Section (BCS) for family property transfers.
In addition to approving the change regarding family transfers in the property manual, the CDA board has increased the validity period of NOCs from three months to one year. However, the next property owner will still be required to apply for a new NOC.
