Misbah ul Haq, one of the most famous former cricketers in the world, has been selected as the Chief Selector and Head Coach of the Pakistani cricket team. Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium is the second largest cricket stadium in Pakistan. It can host over 27,000 spectators at a time. Built in 1959, it was previously known as Lahore Stadium, however, in 1974 it was renamed to Gaddafi Stadium. A comprehensive renovation was carried out at this arena in 1990 to give it a unique look.
Gaddafi stadium has witnessed many great events of international cricket in Pakistan over the years. It is best known for hosting the final match of PSL 2 in 2017. Lately, this stadium has also been selected for the hosting of three T20I cricket matches of Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan 2019.
