The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore is holding a ballot for its most developed phases on December 19, 2019. How to Apply for Open Ballot of DHA Lahore
There are simple steps involved if you are interested in participating in DHA Lahore’s open ballot. The application form for DHA Lahore balloting is available on DHA Lahore’s website.
Applications can be easily submitted online. When you click on the link, it will open up a page. You just need to fill out a form and submit the relevant documents. Follow these steps for DHA Lahore’s open ballot registration.
- Choose the plot category and then click on ‘Apply’ tab
- Fill out the given form
- Submit relevant documents and then click on ‘Submit’ button
- Towards the right end of the page click on ‘Details’ tab under the ‘Action’ button
- When you click on ‘Generate Bank Deposit Slip’ then take a printout and deposit it in the selected bank.
- Scan the copy of the deposit slip and upload it
- Once done, you can check your application status by entering your application number in the given field.
There are a few important things to remember when filling out the form. It is mandatory to fill the fields marked with an asterisk or a red star. You need to submit a softcopy of the applicants’ photograph and CNIC Copy of both sides will be required at the time of form submission. The pictures that you upload should be in the form of JPG, JPEG and PNG formats and none of the picture files uploaded should exceed 500 kb.
Latest Updates in DHA Balloting in Lahore
You can now submit application forms in the open ballot of DHA Lahore that are available on DHA’s website since October 15, 2019. The last date to participate in the balloting of DHA Lahore is November 18, 2019 and the ballot will take place on December 19, 2019, where the successful applicants will be announced.
What are the Terms & Conditions?
Make sure you have submitted all the relevant documents along with the application form in DHA Lahore balloting in 2019. You would need
- One passport size photograph
- A copy of your National Identity Card

The plots that are offered in the open ballot of DHA Lahore 2019 have both regular and some irregular dimensions. As mentioned on DHA Lahore’s website, ‘The offer price for each plot has been adjusted accordingly and any variation in the plot area will not be charged/refunded subsequently.”
On December 19, 2019, when the ballot of DHA Lahore will take place, those who are successful will be announced. The successful applicants will be asked to fulfill the registration requirements for each allotted plot of DHA Lahore. It is important that the applicant should comply with the bylaws and regulations, as specified by the authority, on the allotment and purchase of an immovable property. You can apply for as many number of plots as you want but for each plot category, you need to make the payment of processing fee.
An applicant can apply for any number of plots subject to payment of processing fee for each plot separately. Only those successful applicants will be allotted plots who have made 25% of the total payment, which has to be paid within 30 days of the balloting result for DHA Lahore. Payment Instructions to Participate in the Balloting
Online payment can be done through credit/debit card available on DHA Lahore’s website portal or you can also pay it via pay order or through cash/demand draft in favor of ‘DHA Lahore Ballot 2019’ which can be deposited through the designated branches of MCB Bank Ltd. and Askari Bank Ltd. If you are making the payment through the specified banks, you also need to submit a scanned copy of the deposit slip, which will be uploaded on DHA Lahore’s website along with the photographs and a copy of the CNIC or NICOP. You need to make the payments as mentioned below.
Processing Fee of DHA Lahore Open Ballot Application
For residential plots, the application fee for the open ballot of DHA Lahore for a 1 kanal plot is PKR 15,000 and for a 10 marla plot, it’s PKR 10,000. For any commercial plots, the processing fee would increase as the area size increases. The application fee for a 2 marla plot is PKR 10,000. For a 4 marla commercial plot, it will be PKR 15,000 and PKR 25,000 for an 8 marla plot. In case of payment through cash / bank draft via the designated banks of Askari or MCB Bank, it is important to upload the bank deposit receipt duly endorsed and stamped by the bank officials on DHA’s website otherwise the application won’t be accepted.
