UPDATE (July 22, 2020): The Chairperson of the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Project, Lt. Gen. Anwar Ali Hyder informed that a lucky draw would be conducted for 1.6 million loan applications. He also confirmed that those investors who can not reveal their sources of income can also invest in NPHP until December 31. The government also announces 5% and 7% mortgage on 5 and 10 marla houses in the scheme.

Update (October 16, 2019): The deadline to apply in the second phase of registrations for Naya Pakistan Housing Program have been extended to November 15, 2019.

Owing to the scheme’s growing popularity, the government has also set up a portal through which you can follow the process of online registration for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.

Online Registration For Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
The second phase of online registration for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme was launched across Pakistan on July 15, 2019. Deserving families can register for it in the next three months until October 15. This is a perfect opportunity for those who have been living in a rented space, because of lack of resources. They can now own a house in any city they choose in Pakistan.
An overview of Naya Pakistan Housing Program
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme is a government-run project where 5 million houses for Pakistanis will be constructed. It is quite popular among people coming from middle-income backgrounds. If your family’s monthly gross income is in the following bracket, you can easily apply for in the scheme. To check whether you fit the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme eligibility criteria take a look at the income brackets given below:
- Less than PKR 20,000
- Between PKR 20,001 and PKR 40,000
- Between PKR 40,001 and 60,000
- Between PKR 60,001 and PKR 100,000
- More than PKR 100,000
The government of Pakistan aims to construct double-unit houses under the housing scheme. Government will be the main facilitator in the project and private firms will build the houses.
A Chinese company plans to build two million houses under the scheme. Government of Pakistan has made it compulsory for all international construction companies to only use building material that is locally produced. No construction company is allowed to hire labour force from other countries.

Remember: One member per family i.e. either the spouse or children are allowed to register. It is imperative that you don’t own a house or property. If you had taken part in the first phase of registration then you don’t need to register again in Phase II.

There are two ways by which you can register for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
- Visit nearest NADRA E-Sahulat Center. Get the form, fill it up and submit it
- Click on Naya Pakistan Housing Program Online to register online
People are already registering through E-Sahulat Center, but those who are short on time and do not want to wait in a long queue can easily apply for a house of their own in this popular low-housing scheme.

How to Register Online for Naya Pakistan Housing Program
The process of online registration for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme is simple and easy. When you land onto Naya Pakistan Housing Program Online portal, you will be asked to either click on Register Online tab or on Register at E-Sahulat one. Click on Register Online tab as shown in the picture below.
Enter your CNIC number where there is Citizen Number written. Click on the Submit button as shown in the picture below.
You can pay through Credit/Debit Card or pay through EasyPaisa franchise. When you click on payment through Card system make sure you possess a valid card. Fill in the details regarding your Credit Card as shown in the picture below.
Once you have paid the fees of PKR 250, you can now fill out a form and register for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme. In the form, fill out details pertaining to your monthly income, mobile number, employment details and also if you own any property or not.

They will also ask you if you have previously registered for any government scheme. Fill out the details carefully as any false information can lead to your application being cancelled. You will also have to mention the city you choose for residence, the number of bedrooms and the number of family members expected to stay in the house. The amount of monthly instalments that you can pay also needs to be mentioned. The instalments are as small as PKR 5000 to PKR 10,000.
As soon as you submit the form, you will get an online registration receipt. You must save/print/download the receipt or simply forward it to your email address.
