The establishment of a motorsports arena in Pakistan will provide opportunities for aspiring motorsports professionals to get properly trained and show-off their motor racing skills in local as well as international sporting events.
According to the Director-General Sports in KPK, the upcoming motorsports arena is going to have three tracks in total. There will be a 1-kilometer-long circuit track for drag race, 2.48-kilometer-long dirt track for off-roading, and a 4.63-kilometer-long asphalt race track.
It is going to be a grand-scale motorsports venue with the capacity to accommodate 4000 spectators. The design of this massive project has already been approved by the concerned authorities. Pakistan’s very first motorsports arena in KPK will be constructed at a total cost of PKR 2 billion.
The massive arena is being constructed in collaboration with private investors. The construction of this large-scale world-class sporting venue is expected to be completed within a period of two and a half years.
A fully-featured residential area has also been planned in the peripheries of the under-construction motorsports arena in Nowshera. It will be used for the accommodation of international racers participating in racing competitions held in Pakistan.
