Lake City, Lahore’s prices, and its popularity have been gradually increasing over the years, particularly since the link to Ring Road was opened up. It is one of the top choice of high-end housing schemes and it will continue to be that in the foreseeable future. Even though the market has been rather slow in the past year in Lahore, Lake City has been keeping up its activity and buyers have been taking a constant interest in the project since it is a great project for genuine buyers.
What of the possession and development?
The project is highly attractive precisely because of its great standard of development and the fact that possession has been available most of the society. However, possession in the remaining areas – where it isn’t available – has been most awaited. Indeed, most of the questions received on Zameen Blogs have been regarding that. Possession isn’t available in M-3 Extension, M-7 C-1 and C-2, and M-8, according to Ahmed Ali Khan of AAS Properties. According to him, possession for the 10-marla plots M-3 Extension is going to be available soon. He believed that we will hear an announcement about this in December of this year or January the next year.
Similarly, possession can be expected in M-8 around that time as well. However, possession in M-7 C1 and C-2 will take much longer. He expected it to take around two years. However, he was confident that we will begin seeing development in these blocks in December as well. It will, then, take around a year for development to be complete, and only after that can we expect possession.

According to Malik Waqas Anwer of Lahore Property Point, the prices have been increasing over the past year, ever since the link to the Lahore Ring Road was opened. Now the society has easy access to the rest of the city. This makes it fantastic for genuine buyers and while investors who have already invested will already be benefiting from it, it doesn’t hold much interest for the new investors since the margin of returns is not particularly high. Still, the newer blocks could be considered for medium-term investment.
