DHA Defence
DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi, despite being located a little far from the central areas of Islamabad remained the most popular locality of Islamabad according to Zameen.com’s data. As can be noted from the table above, the difference in the Popularity Index between DHA on one hand, and Gulberg on the other is immense.
According to M. Zia of Marwat & Associates, the following sizes are available here in the commercial category. The areas available are 4 marlas and 8 marlas. The price range for the 4-marla plot ranges from PKR 5,000,000 to PKR 30,000,000 depending on the location. As for the 8-marla option, the prices range from PKR 10,000,000 to PKR 70,000,000 depending on the location.
Gulberg
Gulberg Greens and Gulberg Residencia are projects of the Intelligence Bureau Employee’s Cooperative Housing Society. Located at just a 15-minute drive from other parts of Islamabad, 10 minutes from the airport, and 5 minutes from GT Road, it is a project that has managed to capture the interest of the investors and genuine buyers
According to Habib Ali of Advice Associates the following sizes are available here in the commercial category. The commercial plots range between 5 marlas to 8 marlas. The price range for the 5-marla plot starts from PKR 20,000,000 to PKR 40,000,000 while for the 8-marla plot, the prices range from PKR 50,000,000 to PKR 80,000,000.
Bahria Town
Bahria Town Islamabad basically includes Bahria Enclave and Bahria Golf City. It is an active area as suggested by the trends.
According to Habib Ali of Advice Associates the following sizes are available here in the commercial category. The commercial plots are available in 1.5 marlas, 2.5 marlas, 5 marlas, and 8 marlas. The price range for these areas are PKR 30,00,000, PKR 60,00,000, PKR 1,20,00,000, and PKR 40,000,000 respectively.
B-17
Launched in 2004, B-17 spreads over an area of about 25,000 kanals near the Margalla Hills. It is located such that it is linked to GT Road on one hand, and the Islamabad Motorway on the other.
According to Adil Bhatti of RK Enterprises, the following sizes are available here in the commercial category. The most common sizes are 2 marlas, 5 marlas, and 8 marlas. The price ranges for these are as follows. For the 2-marla option, prices begin from PKR 2,500,000. For the 5-marla plots, PKR 4,000,000 to PKR 12,500,000 is the price range, while for 8-marla plots, the prices begin at PKR 10,000,000.
Ghauri Town
Located on Islamabad Expressway, Ghauri Town is situated close to the Benazir Bhutto International Airport. It was launched in 2000.
According to A M Safdar of Nexus Estate Services, the following sizes are available here in the commercial category. The common sizes available here are 4-marla, 5-marla, and 8-marla. The price ranges for these are as follows. For the 4-marla option, the price range starts from PKR 4,000,000 to PKR 6,000,000. For the 5-marla plots, the prices lie between PKR 7,000,000 to PKR 10,000,000, while for the 8-marla option, the prices begin from PKR 9,600,000 onwards.
