Our Zameen Business Connect events series completed yet another one of its successful episodes on the 29th of January this year – with Zameen.com having arranged the event at Chaaye Khana Rawalpindi; drawing on the warm ambience of the venue to welcome the Affiliates from the twin cities.
Keeping up with the company’s vision of continuously empowering the country’s real estate sector stakeholders, the latest Zameen Business Connect continued on the series’ essential theme of expanding the reach of the Zameen Affiliates Programme. And as per going practice, the event included a briefing on some of the top projects available on the company’s inventory listings for the Affiliates’ benefit.
A Brief Intro to the Zameen Affiliates Programme
For some time now, Zameen.com has been organizing its Business Connect events in several cities across the country; and in doing so, has received a tremendous response – as evidenced by its constantly increasing number of Affiliates from these locations.
The aim of the program is to enable local real estate agents, as well as other field stakeholders, empower themselves by promoting and selling the inventory of projects exclusively marketed by the company. By becoming a part of this venture, these individuals (now termed ‘Affiliates’) become eligible to receive a monetary commission on each successful unit sale; with the amount varying from project to project.
How to Become an Affiliate
The company has designed a simple process for both real estate beginners and professionals hoping to join its ranks of Affiliates. First off, these individuals need to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zameen.com, and reflecting the company’s commitment to provide accessibility to all, they are not required to possess any long-term experience within the local property sector as a prerequisite for joining.
Following the signing of this agreement, these people are awarded the ‘Affiliate’ designation, as well as the company’s express permission to market and sell its project inventories.
Upon attending the company’s periodic Zameen Business Connect events, these Affiliates receive information on the available projects. The Zameen Team also shares the ‘Schedule of Commissions’ so they know what amount to expect from each project sale.
Highlights from the Latest Event
The latest iteration of the Business Connect event, as anticipated, also turned out to be a huge success. A significant number of Affiliates from both Islamabad and Rawalpindi flocked to take part in the spectacle; numbering upwards of 50 attendees.
Representing the company, several speakers took part in the event; including Manager Affiliate Network Agha Sultan, Associate Director Affiliate Network Farhat Nawaz, Associate Director Sales Farough Muhammad Khan, Director Sales Khurram Hussain, Associate Director Sales Junaid Mughal, Senior Business Development Manager Hajira Alamgir, and Regional Sales Manager Faizan Siab Kiyani.
To kick-start the proceedings, Mr Agha Sultan commenced with an incisive orientation session. He discussed the features, history, and successes of the Zameen Affiliates Programme accrued till date.
Following this introductory round, the other speakers addressed the audience with their own presentations; further talking about all the Zameen projects that they could benefit from – while laying special emphasis on the Zameen Ace Homes, Pine Valley, LDA City, Axis Mall, and Mall 35 projects (described briefly below).
Highlighted Projects
Zameen Ace Homes: A project by Zameen Developments, Zameen Ace Homes is located within DHA Phase III in Islamabad. This residential project offers housing units in both ‘standard’ and ‘lake view’ categories.
Pine Valley: Developed by Samara Construction Group, this project is located amidst the Margalla Hills along the Pir Sohawa Road. It offers luxury studio apartments units.
LDA City: The flagship project of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), this residential society is located along the LDA Road off the Main Ferozepur Road, and offers residential plots of 5 marlas, 10 marlas, and 1 kanal.
Axis Mall: A mixed-use project by V-One Associates & Developers (located in Islamabad), the Axis Mall offers a wide range of shops, kiosks, and flats.
Mall 35: Another project by Zameen Developments, Mall 35 is situated in Rawalpindi’s famous Saddar area. The project offers commercial outlets (shop units), kiosks, and hotel apartments, in addition to featuring a food court and a ‘mega hypermart’ attractions.
At the event’s conclusion, all eligible Affiliates received cheque payments in lieu of their successful project sales. Further, all the attendees were treated to a hearty course of refreshments.
