The stadium itself is used for the National Horse and Cattle Show, which is a popular festival in Lahore, along with hosting cultural events, fairs, and local sporting events. The ‘National Horse and Cattle Show’ displays livestock, along with spectacular displays of horsemanship, racing, folk dancing, and much more.

Fortress Square Mall
Fortress Square Mall is one of the best shopping malls in Lahore. All of the latest movies are also shown at Cinepax Cinemas on the 2nd floor of the mall, while Fortress Mall also offers its own parking area.
What’s more, the mall is home to Super Space, which is an indoor amusement park with a range of games, rides, and activities. Don’t worry if you are bringing the little ones along, as they will have a fun time at the Rainbow Garden, which is a soft play area for kids. The Fortress Mall is also home to Carrefour supermarket so that you can shop for all of your groceries and essential items. Teenagers also often prefer to spend time at the bowling alley inside the mall.
Joyland Amusement Park
Joyland is an amusement park with an array of fun-filled and exciting rides for all ages. While most of the rides can be enjoyed by kids, some are specifically recommended for adults due to their thrill levels. Weekend visits can result in long waiting times, but head there on a weekday and you’re in for an exciting evening. Joyland Amusement Park is open between 4 pm and 12 am daily with a single ticket giving you access to several rides.
As one of the best amusement parks in Lahore, it offers rides like Drop Tower, Tagada, Discovery, Flying Carpet, and more. You can enter Joyland, Lahore, with a wristband that costs PKR 400 and includes unlimited rides for the duration of your stay.
St. John Park
A triangular park located directly opposite the stadium and alongside Aziz Bhatti Road is officially named as St. John Park and is a popular picnic spot for families. It is home to shady trees and the Fortress Fountain, making it not just the ideal destination for a family outing, but also, a perfect spot to rest after a shopping spree in the mall to let the kids enjoy some fresh air.
Sindbad’s Wonderland
Another entertainment option near Fortress Stadium, Lahore, is known as Sindbad’s Wonderland. It contains a number of classic as well as modern arcade games as well as rides for toddlers. Sindbad’s Wonderland also has its own food court with a range of eateries in it, making it perfect for family outings or birthday party celebrations. Rides at Sindbad’s Wonderland include Spin Zone Cars, Venturer – 3D Simulator, and Jumping Jet. It is open between 3 pm and 11 pm daily.
Timings of Fortress Stadium
The area around Fortress Stadium also has several clothing stores selling affordable apparel and a range of eateries offer fast food, Pakistani, as well as Chinese cuisine. Most of the stores and activities surrounding Fortress Stadium, Lahore, are open from Monday to Friday, between 11 am and 9 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday between 12 pm and 11 pm.
