The Directorate General of Passport and Immigration has established these executive passport offices offering one-window operation in all major cities across Pakistan in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority, more commonly known as NADRA.
Whether you are applying for a new passport or getting it renewed, the entire process at these executive passport offices in Pakistan takes about 15 minutes. Some of these offices also provide applicants with free refreshments. ATMs and bank counters are also located inside these centres, allowing applicants to withdraw money and deposit their passport renewal fee all under the same roof. However, all of these executive offices charge an extra fee for their service.

Executive Passport Office in Islamabad
The residents of Islamabad can apply for a passport at the Executive Passport Office located in Sector G-6/2.
Meanwhile, those who don’t have an Islamabad address on their CNICs need to fill a form titled ‘Request for Renewal of Passport at EPO Islamabad’ and get it attested from a gazetted officer.

The one-window Executive Passport Office in DHA, Lahore charges a PKR 3000 service fee in addition to the regular passport fee.

Executive Passport Office in Karachi
Residents of Karachi can visit the Executive Passport Office located in Clifton near the Anti-Terrorism Court to apply for a passport. There is no need to pay a fee voucher beforehand as the counter for National Bank of Pakistan is located inside the office. As of right now, you can deposit the passport application fee in cash only.

Types of Passports
There are three types of passports in Pakistan:
Ordinary Passport
These passports are also called the green passports and can be obtained by all citizens of Pakistan.
Diplomatic Passport
These passports are only issued to the diplomats and other officials who represent Pakistan abroad.
Official Passport
The Official passports are meant for the ministers, senators, parliamentarian, and Supreme Court and High Court judges, along with other officials representing the Government of Pakistan.
It is important to mention that the executive and regional passport offices in Pakistan only process Ordinary Passports. The Diplomatic and Official passports are sent to the Directorate General Immigration & Passports Headquarters in Islamabad.
List of Required Documents
These are the generally required documents for the passport application process at executive passport centres in Pakistan.
For New Passports (Adults)
- Original CNIC with a Karachi address
- Father and mother’s original CNIC
- If either of both parents are not alive, their death certificate(s) will be required
- Spouse’s CNIC (if applicable)
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Last academic degree, transcript or certificate
- Foreign passport in case of dual nationality
- Machine Readable Passports of father or brother (if present)
For New Passports (Minors)
- Original Computerized Registration Certificate (CRC) issued by NADRA
- Father and mother’s original CNIC with a Karachi address
- Birth certificate
- Foreign passport in case of dual nationality
- Machine Readable Passports of both parents
The child must be accompanied by either or both of his/her parents. Moreover, if the passport application is processed on CRC, the parents must get the Data Form attested by a gazetted officer.
For Passport Renewal (Adults)
- Original CNIC with a Karachi address
- Last original passport
- Foreign passport in case of dual nationality
- Father or brother’s CNIC
For Passport Renewal (Minors)
- Original Computerized Registration Certificate
- Father and mother’s original CNIC with a Karachi address
- Birth certificate
- Foreign passport in case of dual nationality
- Machine Readable Passports of both parents
The child must be accompanied by either father, mother or both.
