So, if you don’t know exactly which emergency services operate in Pakistan and how to get in touch with them, we’re here to help. In this blog, we’ll discuss everything you need to know about different types of emergency services in Pakistan.
Let’s get started!
Emergency Services In Pakistan
You can call the below-listed emergency services in an emergency situation. However, some of them are region-specific while others operate all over the country.
Pakistan Emergency Helpline (PEHL) – 911
For the very first time in the history of Pakistan, a unified helpline has been launched. The helpline 911 sounds familiar because it is the same combination of digits that has been used by the United States as its all-in-one emergency number for decades. Also, if you follow American movies and TV shows, you may have heard about it a lot.
Well, coming back to the topic, Pakistan’s version of the 911 emergency service is available countrywide. It is officially known as the Pakistan Emergency Helpline (PEHL). People facing any kind of emergency situation can now easily dial this three-digit helpline number from their landline phones and mobile devices to get immediate response from police, fire brigade, ambulance service, and the National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP).
