As the name indicates, CSD Food Street is located in proximity to a branch of the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) in Karachi. Being run under the umbrella of the Ministry of Defence, the network of this retail store is spread across the country.
The best part about CSD Food Street is that it is located in gated premises constructed for the CSD Supermarket, which also has ample parking space. It is a prime spot in the city, directly accessible from the main Korangi Road, near Kala Pul and FTC Building. The place is also just a stone’s throw away from Shahrah-e-Faisal.
How to Get There?
If you are coming from areas like Korangi, DHA or Clifton, you’ll have to take the route of Korangi Road. After crossing the very famous Kala Pul, you’ll see the CSD supermarket on your left-hand side. Just take a left turn when you reach the gate to enter CSD Food Street.
Similarly, if you are coming from areas like Gulistan-e-Jauhar, FB Area, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Saddar, Karsaz or PECHS, you have to take a left turn from the FTC building on Shahrah-e-Faisal. Upon reaching the first traffic signal, you have to make a U-turn on Korangi Road and you’ll see the gate of CSD Food Street at a short distance. Turn left and enter the premises.
The best part about visiting this food street is that there is no entry ticket and the place has a free-of-charge parking lot.

Like many other famous street food places in Karachi, CSD Food Street features many different types of eateries offering a plethora of food options. From beverages and snacks to BBQ items and hearty desi meals, it’s a delightful package for foodies in Karachi.
