Commander City’s Phase 1 offers accommodation on 80 square yards and 120 square yards, with both plots and readymade houses on sale for investors. If you are looking for a larger home, then you can join two plots of the same size to build a house of 160 square yards or 240 square yards in the society. The development also features 100 square yards commercial plots for sale as well as studio apartments.
Floor plans for all four plot sizes are available on the project’s website for the ground floor. However, the official brochure contains double-storey plans for 80 square yards and 120 square yards as well.
Payment Plan for Commander City, Karachi
As a low-cost housing project, the payment plan for Commander City, Karachi, varies based on your affordability. There are three schemes currently available for constructed units and one payment plan for Commander City plots.
Regular Scheme for Constructed Units
As per the regular scheme, a single-storey bungalow of 80 square yards costs PKR 27 lakh, while a 120 square yards bungalow (single-storey) costs PKR 39 lakh. Convenient payment plans are available for interested parties.
Easy Home Financing Scheme
The second payment scheme allows you to pay for your home over a period of 20 years, with as little as PKR 15,000 being paid monthly to the developers for a 2-bedroom apartment. Details for the Easy Home Financing Scheme as are follows:

Interest-Free Loan Scheme
An alternative to the above is to opt for an interest-free loan scheme which allows you to possess the house (in a year after the booking) and then pay for it after possession in 40 equal monthly instalments.
Registration fees and utility charges apply to all schemes, after which possession for the homes can be expected over the next 6 to 10 months.
Payment Plan for Open Plots
Commander City offers 80 and 120 square yards residential plots for sale. After the price hike in August 2020, plot prices in Commander City are now PKR 16 lakh and PKR 24 lakh for 80 and 120 square yards, respectively, with 42 monthly instalments.
However, as of February 2020, the project is offering a 50% discount on all open plots, resulting in prices being cut by half. Thus, a plot of 80 square yards is now available for PKR 6 lakh, while a plot of 120 square yards is on sale for PKR 9 lakh. The developers have announced that this discount will last throughout Ramadan 2020 until Eid-ul-Fitr, so be sure to avail it while it lasts!
A registration fee of PKR 1 lakh applies on all plots, houses, and apartments, while charges of PKR 2 lakh are applicable on the corner, park-facing, road-facing, and west-open homes.
Commander City also plans to launch other payment schemes to make it easier for people to get a home in the community. Development Updates for Commander City, Karachi
As Commander City focuses more on offering ready-built houses rather than plots, the construction is rapidly underway, and model houses are also ready for a visit on site. Commander Builders also hosted the International Property Expo in Karachi in January 2020 to market their project to the masses.
