How to Check SSGC Bill Online
Whether you want to get a duplicate SSGC bill online or simply want to check the total payable amount, visiting the official website for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited would solve all your problems. Just hover your cursor over the ‘Customer Management’ button on the top navigation panel and click on ‘View Bill.’ You’ll now be redirected to a new webpage asking you to enter the 10-digit customer number on your SSGC bill in the empty field.
Once you have entered the number, click on the ‘View/Download Your Bill’ button to find out the due amount.
How to Check SNGPL Bill Online
The process to obtain your duplicate SNGPL bill online isn’t much different either. To find out the due amount, you will have to visit the official website for Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited and click on the round ‘Consumer Bill’ button. This will redirect you to a new webpage with further instructions on where to enter the consumer number printed on your old bill.
The SNGPL website has two separate sections for domestic and industrial consumers. So, if you are a domestic consumer, enter the number in the top field and click on ‘Submit’.
There are also quite a few apps available on Play Store and App Store that can help you check your utility bills within a matter of minutes.
How to Pay Gas Bills Online in Pakistan
Since we now know how to check gas bills online, let’s take a look at some of the most convenient ways to pay them.
Internet and Mobile Banking
The easiest and most popular way to pay gas bills online is through the internet and mobile banking. Almost all commercial banks in Pakistan, HBL, UBL, and Standard Chartered Bank, allow their customers to make such payment online through their internet and mobile banking services.
If you already have your internet banking activated, all you need to do is login and click on the bill payment option. Another way to go about this is to download the mobile application of the bank where you hold an account. Open the application on your smartphone and select the type of payment you need to make. Enter your customer ID, transaction code and reference number to complete the e-payment.
JazzCash
JazzCash Mobile Account is one of the most popular online payment services in Pakistan that allows online bill payment and e-wallet services.
If you are a Mobilink user, here are the steps you need to take to pay gas bills online.
Step 1: Dial *786#
Step 2: Select ‘Pay Bills’
Step 3: Select the type of bill
Step 4: Select the company
Step 5: Enter the reference number
Step 6: Review transaction
Step 7: Enter MPIN to confirm
However, if you are not a Mobilink user, then you can simply download the JazzCash mobile app and create an account by tapping ‘Sign Up’. Then, create an MPIN and select the type of bill you want to pay along with the company (SSGC or SNGPL) before adding your reference number. Confirm your details before tapping on the screen to complete your e-payment.
Please note that JazzCash allows you to make the first three online payments each month without any charges. However, you will have to pay PKR 20 per bill from your fourth transaction. Moreover, utility bills greater than PKR 50,000 are not payable through this service.
Easy Paisa
Easy Paisa is another popular digital service provider in Pakistan that enables customers to pay their bills without any hassle.
To pay your bills online, simply download the EasyPaisa app into your smartphone and create a new account. After signing up, log in to the service using a 5-digit code and select and tap on ‘Bill Payment’ to open a new menu. Select ‘Gas’ and click on your distribution company before entering the reference number. Make sure to check all of your details, such as the due date and amount, before completing the transaction by tapping on the ‘Pay Now’ button.
