All About Bahria Adventure Land Karachi

Bahria Town Karachi has finally inaugurated Bahria Adventure Land, Pakistan’s first international-standard theme park that boasts exciting rides, play areas, eateries and a ton of other family-friendly attractions.

The latest tourist spot in the most popular neighbourhood of Karachi opened its gates to the public on Friday, Nov. 1. A grand firework display was also organized to mark the opening of the Bahria theme park.

Bahria Adventure Land – Overview 

Located in the mega real-estate project of Bahria Town, this unique theme park is the latest addition to the list of tourist attractions in Karachi. As per the company’s website, Bahria Adventure Land was built in collaboration with Italian manufacturers and offers a number of recreational activities for both children and adults alike.

Some of the thrilling rides at Bahria Adventure Land include the exhilarating roller coaster named Rail Blazers, the thrilling Power Drop and the exciting Pirates of Adventure, to name a few. The Claw, Cyclone Alladin, Shark Attack and Sinbad are also among the most popular rides at the Bahria Town theme park.

However, it is important to note that some of these rides have strict height restrictions to ensure the safety of visitors. For instance, you need to be above 4’5” and under 6’5” tall to ride Cyclone, whereas you need to be between 4’2” and 6’3” to try out Power Drop. The height limit for Shark Attack is from 4’2” to 4’5”, making it a perfect ride for children and teenagers.

Along with numerous rides, water attractions, marching band and entertaining mascots, the sprawling Dino Park at Bahria Adventure Land also appears to have become a popular spot among the kids visiting the theme park.

Meanwhile, the main entrance of the theme park reminds one of a grand castle. For the convenience of visitors, an ATM machine has also been placed right next to the ticket counter. If you want to take a break, seating areas have also been set up across Bahria Town Karachi Adventure Land, including the one at the Kohkaaf Station. It also houses a small refreshment centre. 

Visitors can also take a break by visiting the nearby KFC or McDonald’s outlets for some delicious fast-food. Some of the other eateries at the theme park include Burger King, Crispy for You, Aqua Bar and Palladium Food Court among others.

Bahria Adventure Land theme park is located on the main Jinnah Avenue in Bahria Town Karachi, which is situated just off the M-9 Motorway. It is situated opposite Precinct 18 in the housing scheme.

Bahria Winter Festival

To celebrate the arrival of the new season, Bahria Adventure Land has organized a Bahria Winter Festival for the residents of Karachi. This festival will be held throughout the month of November.

Here are the Bahria Adventure Land ticket prices for this month:

Adults: PKR 2000 (including all rides)
Children: PKR 1500 (including all rides)

The festival will also include a grand circus parade on a daily basis. Moreover, visitors can enjoy a 30 percent discount on food from their favourite eateries in the theme park.

Danzoo

Danzoo, or Day and Night Zoo, is easily one of the most popular places to visit in Karachi with kids. Considered the first zoo of international standards in Pakistan, it is home to a range of exotic and indigenous animals, including lions, panthers, tigers, cheetahs, leopards, monkeys, black bears, giraffes, deer and zebras to name a few. Visitors can also see peacocks, ostriches, parrots, macaws, white and black swans, doves, geese, cobras, pythons and other creatures at one of the best zoos in Karachi.

It is important to note that Danzoo provides both day and night-time safari adventures. Visitors of all ages can also enjoy boat rides for PKR 100. However, children under 12 have to wear life jackets. In addition to that, adults can also experience water cycling only for PKR 150. Wearing a helmet is mandatory for this ride.

Bahria Dancing Fountains

Designed by the renowned architects of Shanghai Disney Resort, Futuroscope in France and Dubai Fountain, the stunning Bahria Dancing Fountains are one of the biggest tourist attractions in Karachi.  

It is also considered the largest dancing fountain in South Asia with over 350 dazzling LED lights and laser projections, 250 fountain jets and 180 height jets. 

Bahria Dancing Fountains Timings: You can watch the mesmerizing choreography of the synchronized fountains every Sunday at 7:30 PM. Special shows are also organized during public holidays.
