Eligibility Criteria for the NTS Test
Students applying for the NTS test should have completed their 12 years of education. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the NTS test, you can go ahead with the further process.
NTS Registration Fee
If you are applying for the NTS test, then you have to pay PKR 700 as its registration fee. You can deposit the NTS registration fee online through e-portals of the banks including Muslim Commercial Bank, Meezan Bank, United Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited and Allied Bank Limited.
How to Apply For the NTS test Online
Let us give you complete instructions on how to apply for the NTS test. There are two types of tests conducted by National Testing Service based on the educational requirement of a student applying for it.
- National Aptitude Test (NAT)
- Graduate Assessment Test (GAT)
The procedure of applying for the above-mentioned two types of test is as follows.
- If you are applying for NTS test, you need to make an account on National Testing Service’s online portal by visiting data.cell.org.pk
- Your new account to apply for the NTS test online can be created with your CNIC number
- Fill up the online application for the NTS test according to the guidelines given on the website, especially mandatory fields such as your Full Name, Email Address, Contact Details and CNIC Number.
- Choose a password combination that is easy to remember for your online application for the NTS test. In case you forget the password, you can request to change it by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ button displayed on the website. You will receive a password reset link in a few seconds.
- Once you have successfully registered or logged in, you have to the type of test you need to apply, for example, National Aptitude Test (NAT) or Graduate Assessment Test (GAT).
- Depending on your requirement and location, select the date of your test and its centre, which is basically the city in which it is going to be conducted such as Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, etc.
- Uploading your ‘Passport Size Photo’ is the next important step that you need to take in NTS online registration process.
- Now download the deposit slip of your desired bank to pay the NTS Registration Fee online. As stated above, the available bank options in this regard are Muslim Commercial Bank, Habib Bank Limited, Meezan Bank, United Bank Limited and Allied Bank Limited.
- Fill out the required bank deposit information for the completion of NTS online registration process.
Important Things to Remember
Your application will not be processed if you missed out on filling any important details during NTS online registration process.
Keep a check on National Testing Service’s website regularly for the announcement of the test date, venue and NTS test results.
NTS dispatches roll number and documents carrying details of the examination usually 10 days before the examination.
NTS results are announced within 7 days after the test.
